Last week, Travel Counsellors visited our Head Office in Manchester for our fun-filled DMC Takeover Day! We were delighted to be joined by over 65 Travel Counsellors, and six of our largest DMC partners to learn all about the fantastic service they provide, and how DMCs can help Travel Counsellors take their businesses to a whole new level!

The takeover day kick-started with a brilliant Indian dance performance, followed by a dedicated TCTV show, broadcast live from our in-house TV studio. Our special DMC partner guests were invited to join Commercial Manager, Carol Hooley, on the sofa to tell us more about the unique products and service they can provide our Travel Counsellors. They took part in a lively Q&A with Travel Counsellors who attended the event, while those tuning in from home were able to send their questions and comments via instant message.

After the show, Travel Counsellors took part in an exciting drum workshop, which was certainly the highlight of the day! Take a look at our video...

The drum workshop was followed by an exotic lunch with cuisine from around the world!

Travel Counsellors then spent one-to-one time with each our DMC partners, gaining invaluable knowledge and advice.

Our in-house Phenix expert, Ann Spencer, was on hand to offer support and training for Travel Counsellors.

And, our Groups Departments and Suitcase team offered advice and information about the services we offer as part of our Head Office support team.

Travel Counsellor, Merv Bates, joined us for the day - watch our short video to here his thoughts on the day...

We'd like to thank our DMC partners for attending our Takeover day and sharing their invaluable advice with our Travel Counsellors. Our thanks go to Your Africa, DMX, Exo Travel, Global Encounters, Alba Travel, Easia and Etihad.
