Travel Counsellors has changed My World for the Better!
Being a Travel Counsellor has allowed me to become a whole lot more independent, it has given me flexibility as well as freedom.
In my previous career I felt very restricted and bound by the rules and the regulations of the company where I worked. Whereas now as a Travel Counsellor I get to make my own decisions, plus I have a lot of time to spend with my children, and to be there for them throughout their school career.

Natalie shares more about her journey to becoming a Travel Counsellor.
I began my career in travel working for Rennies Travel in 1997. I worked my way up to being a Senior Leisure Travel Consultant and I left the company in 2002.
I left Rennies Travel where I took a leap of faith to go on my own and to start my own business. I joined an Independent Travel Company where I began building my client base, whilst working from home. At around about that same time I gave birth to my first child Montana.
6 years later I started evaluating my business to look where it was and to dream about where I could take it. I knew that if I was serious about growing my business that I needed to make some changes for me to take my business onto a more professional level.
It was at this point that I enquired with Travel Counsellors. After a presentation held with Travel Counsellors, I was immediately convinced that this was the right choice, not only for myself but also for my customers! Travel Counsellors technology was second to none, plus what they would provide me with that I could offer to my clients was leaps and bound ahead of what I was currently able to offer my customers.
I joined Travel Counsellors in February 2009. Natalie’s business has more than doubled since joining Travel Counsellors. Her sales for 2016 was her best year to day and if her business continues the way it has for the first 6 months of 2017 then she is set to smash her 2016 sales.
We heard about Natalie’s daughter Montana was born when Natalie first started her own business. Travel Counsellors had the privilege to speak to Montana (now all grown up) and to find out from here what it has meant to her having her mom as a Travel Counsellor and to share with us any life lessons that she has learnt from her mom.
We can certainly see that Montana appreciates all that her mom does for her but what is incredible to see is that Montana can see her mom’s passion and love for travel and how much she loves to help her customers.
If by joining Travel Counsellors means that Natalie’s daughter Montana can truly say and believe “If you love what you do, then you never work a day in your life” then Natalie can stand proud!
Plus, another testament to Natalie is the fact that her customers have remained loyal and true to her. It is incredibly rewarding for Natalie as she gets to watch their children grow up and see the friendships and relationship with her customers deepen.
