I attended the 'Building your Business' and 'Motivational Marketing' course and got such great ideas on new ways to market my business.

I decided to put together a Weddings and Honeymoons feature in my local newspaper and contacted 10 local businesses who offer various elements of any wedding day, for example, a florist and a photographer to ask if they'd be interested in coming on board and supporting the feature.

To my delight 9 businesses agreed and paid for almost the entire feature. The full editorial was about Travel Counsellors and the different honeymoon option I could offer, along with information about the Honeymoon Gift Registry service and even a honeymoon checklist from Travel Counsellors.

After just a couple of hours of the newspaper going on sale, I had 2 enquiries from clients who have never booked with me and even calls from existing clients congratulating me on the feature. I can honestly say that if I had not attended this course, this idea would never have entered my head! You do need to think outside the box sometimes.
