Cork travel specialist Mary Foyle recently won the prestigious title of top performing Travel Counsellor in Ireland at our annual Travel Counsellors global conference. The Bishopstown-based travel expert, who has been part of our company for the past 12 years, scooped the award at this years star-studded ceremony which was held in Manchester.
Our annual event, which took place on November 11, recognises the very best talent within Travel Counsellors global network of travel experts. Mary secured the award due to her business growth, along with her loyal client base and extremely high level of customer service.
The global conference was MCed by celebrity host Vernon Kay, who returned for the fourth year running, and included a performance from singer Olly Murs. It was also attended by high profile speaker, actor and activist Joanna Lumley.
Speaking about her win, Mary said: "I am thrilled to win such a prestigious award. I have worked within the travel industry for the past 40 years - 12 of which have been with Travel Counsellors and it's a career that I adore and relish. Building my business since 2005, I am immensely proud of what I have achieved. Travel Counsellor's ethos is to always put the customer first, and this, coupled with access to the best technology and referrals by my customers, has meant my business has grown year after year.
