Travel Counsellors continues to develop its world leading, in-house booking system to add a wide variety of travel products to the already comprehensive offering.
The latest update to the Phenix system now allows Travel Counsellors agents to access wholesale prices and live availability for the world’s leading cruise operators, as well as low cost flights operated by a range of low-cost carriers. This represents a significant development for Travel Counsellors, as Phenix is the only system which currently enables Australian agents to access wholesale cruise prices and flights operated by low-cost carriers.
Travel Counsellors agents have welcomed the latest Phenix update, with some agents already booking cruise travel through the system.
“I specialise in booking cruises and with cruising becoming more popular in the last few years, I’m really pleased that the Phenix system now includes wholesale rates and live availability for cruising, as it will enable me to sell cruises products much more efficiently,” comments Hayley Voll, a Travel Counsellor from Brisbane, adding that, “…being able to see live availability is a great feature of the system, which will ultimately save time and allow me to turn around bookings more quickly.”
The company are constantly developing Phenix to enable agents to still sell the best products and prices to their customers, whilst dramatically increasing their own earning potential and controlling the margin they make. It’s newly developed integrated ‘shopping basket’ quote system that allows agents to track all enquiries and build complex itineraries has also proven hugely beneficial in saving agents’ time when putting quotes together, as well enhancing the documentation for customers, with 72% of Travel Counsellors recently highlighting this as a key benefit of the system.
