Travel Counsellors enjoy some of the best perks a travel franchise has to offer. Recently 65 of our highest-selling Travel Counsellors, known as ‘Gold Travel Counsellors’ jetted off to the Algarve for one of the two Gold Weekends we host every year.
It’s a chance for Gold Travel Counsellors from all over the globe to get together and celebrate a year of hard work and big achievements. Meath-based Travel Counsellor, Mandy Walsh, celebrated her success over the weekend. Mandy tells us what this achievement means to her:
“Being Gold is so important to me – I want to be the best that I can possibly be as a TC and striving to be Gold makes me more efficient, determined and more focused. Having been Gold for a good few years, then losing it for a while and eventually getting it back makes being Gold even more special – it’s not easy and even at times when you feel a ‘wobble’ but then experience yet another amazing Gold Conference it gives you that extra push to stick with it. It’s in everyone’s capability - I truly believe that. Just dream big, work hard & surround yourself with good people.”
Our Travel Counsellors were accompanied by 17 Head Office colleagues and representatives from our sponsors MSC Cruises, Scenic, Travelport and Rental Cars. Plus, Travel Counsellors’ partners were invited along too, with 33 taking up the offer and joining us to celebrate.
The group stayed at the luxurious Anantara Vilamoura and enjoyed a welcome conference session, black tie Gala dinner, and a choice of excursions, or simply some free time to kick back and relax, prosecco in hand.
