We asked two of our Travel Counsellor's Sarah Appleton and Karen Pugh one simple question -
What do you love most about being a Travel Counsellor?
Sarah Appleton loves that she can offer a personal & bespoke service to her clients...
"For me I love that I can connect with my customers and offer a more personal and bespoke service. As I have worked in the travel industry for over 13 years I have a lot of first-hand knowledge and experience to offer my clients. If I haven’t been somewhere I know that either one of my TC family has been and I can ask them for their advice & guidance on how to maximise the trip for my clients, or we have local suppliers in that area that will guide me through the best possible options. As I am offering a more personal service this means I create my own hours of work and what I really enjoy is the flexibility that being a TC allows me to have. The clients appreciate that I am available late at night, or on a weekend if needs be, and I can allow myself to work around the things that are most important to me."
Karen Pugh loves that she has way more time to spend with her family and friends...
"As a busy mum to a 3 year old, the freedom to work the hours I want to and freedom to build the business that I want to work in. Behind the scenes, we have the best support I've experienced in the industry and I get to meet clients that I really love working with all while getting to be there for my family too!"
